Hi! I’m Chelsea.

I’m glad you’re here.

I started by designing and renovating my own home nearly 10 years ago. There, I designed my very first kitchen. While it was a fairly simple design, I learned so much. Along with my husband Andy, we did all of the work ourselves: demo, installing cabinets, countertops, backsplash, floating shelves, and more. Since selling that home, we purchased a complete fixer upper. We restored the original 1940 hardwood floors and renovated the kitchen and bathroom. Every room in the home was updated. Detached from the main house was a one bedroom, one bathroom casita that was in pretty rough shape. We renovated it completely and the casita became a short-term rental on Airbnb. We have moved on yet again to another home we are currently renovating.

In the midst of buying, designing, and renovating our own homes, friends and family began reaching out for help with theirs. I have absolutely loved being invited into people’s homes and creating spaces they love to be in. This is why I launched Chelsea Evans Designs.

My ideal client is interested in updating their home in an environmentally conscious way, likes a little bit of funk, and is willing to accept a slower process in order to create a home that is uniquely theirs. I love working with vintage pieces, thrifting for treasures, repurposing items for a new life, and using carbon neutral or more sustainable building materials for renovations. My design services are affordable and flexible, fitting most every budget.
