A sweet kiddo gets a bedroom refresh.

This family reached out asking for help with their daughter’s room. The goal was to add a headboard and do a general refresh of the space without breaking the bank. This sweet girl’s parents are pretty handy so I knew they’d be up for a quick project. Rather than purchasing a headboard that would eat up their entire budget, we opted to make a DIY headboard out of wallpaper. They framed the wallpaper with trim, leaving us room in the budget to add new drapes, sconces, and accessories.

CLIENT TESTIMONIAL

“We hired Chelsea to design our 5-year-old's bedroom but tasked her with the challenge of freshening up the room without buying any new furniture. It's amazing to see my existing furniture and décor given fresh new life! The faux headboard design was a simple project but makes an enormous impact! The flexibility Chelsea gives with her variety of service offerings can fit any budget and design need. This was the second project we hired Chelsea for and even though the budgets were drastically different the attention to detail and quality of work were the same. Chelsea is a joy to work with and if you can, hire her to style the room at the end - it's always breathtaking!”
